No matter the fitness level, our Wellness Director, Dr. Mary Nole, can customize a plan for wellness specific to each Resident’s needs. Dr. Nole has an Ed. D. in Gerontology as well as extensive experience working with senior adults.

Our Wellness Center includes:

  • State-of-the-art exercise equipment specifically designed for the needs of the aging population
  • Exercise programs to improve balance, stamina, mental performance and reduce pain
  • A massage room for therapeutic massage
  • Indoor, warm water saline pool known to be soothing for people with arthritis, diabetes, peripheral neuropathy, fibromyalgia, and other conditions. Some people who have been unable to stand have been able to walk in the pool with the assistance of a staff member.

Our Residents receive a personal fitness assessment when they move into Saint Simeon’s, which includes a customized program of exercise to maintain and improve their overall functional health and independence.
