PRAYER FOR SAINT SIMEON’S EPISCOPAL HOME
Oh God, who didst prolong the years of Thy
Blessed Saints, Simeon and Anna, that they might behold the consolation of
Israel; prosper, we pray Thee, our plans for Saint Simeon’s Home as a haven
where Thy servants may dwell in peace and happiness; that they, too, may know
the consolation of Thy Son in the eventide of life, and finally dwell with
Thee in life everlasting; through the merits of the same, Thy Son, Jesus
Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Gras Celebration

Mardi
Gras Parade
Treat
yourself to the outrageous sights and sounds of the homemade floats and creative
costumes presented by the Saint Simeon’s staff.
Parade
Start Time: 10:00 a.m.
Parade
Route: Starts in Memory Center and proceeds on to Health Care Center,
Crossroads Parlor, Assisted Living (A, B, and C wings), back to Crossroads
Parlor, D wing and then ends in the Common
Room. Candy, beaded necklaces and other treats will be “gently” thrown or
handed to everyone along the parade route!

p.m. - Common Room
 Join
us as we crown the King and Queen of Mardi Gras and dance to live music. Plenty
of refreshments for everyone. Costumes are welcome but certainly not required.
As they say in New Orleans, "LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL!"
