whose
husband had been their family doctor, and Mrs. Lobaugh calling him to her room
just to sit down and talk. She had been a teacher and knew his first grade
teacher and would still correct his grammar!
Karen is a native Tulsan and Ronnie moved to Tulsa from Wewoka when he was 13.
For the last 12 years they have made their home northwest of Skiatook on 40
wooded, untouched acres. Lots of deer, wild guineas, turkeys, coyotes and
bobcats. They even built their own road to their trailer and after a year of
maintaining it, Osage county took over.
They have three daughters-Tracy-26, Lisa-22, Rebecca-19, and three grandsons.
Karen likes to read (romances and biographies) and the grandkids keep them
busy since they keep one of them every weekend. Ronnie is busy “fixing stuff”
all the time at home and for friends and relatives-“real job security”. He
also likes to coon hunt, fish, and hunt for flintstones (arrowheads).
They’re looking forward to retirement (Ronnie says he’s just looking for
rest, not power). And hope to make improvements on their mobile home. These
are two gutsy people who are not afraid to say what they think. We are proud
to have the Ferguson family a part of our family.
We
Want to Hear From You! …..The annual family survey forms were mailed to

doing. If you have not been able to fill yours out, or it was misplaced, or
you did not receive one, it is not too late to respond. Please complete and
mail, fax or drop it off by July 15th. Let us know if you need a replacement
form. Again, we appreciate your input!

Saint
Simeon’s Receives VideoEye System
The
generosity of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Keegan, friends of Saint Simeon’s, is going
to allow residents to have access to the VideoEye. The VideoEye is an
easy-to-use, visual magnification system that allows persons with impaired
vision to read newspapers, letters, books, view pictures or even small items in
great detail. The device includes an auto focus camera that displays the desired
item on a large TV screen—in color!
Rick
Rhine, Administrator of Assisted Living, will be setting up demonstration
sessions in the month of July so interested residents will be able to “see”
just how easy the VideoEye magnification system is to use. Please watch for
dates and times!
