Adult
Day Services recently made the “International” news on KOTV Channel 6.
Thanks to the generosity of residents, families, friends and staff, Adult Day
Services was able to donate a large container of children's school supplies to
the American Red Cross. Channel 6 featured the donation on the five o’clock
news and filmed participants filling the container with pencils, crayons, paper,
etc. The story noted that the supplies collected during this national campaign
are being shipped to Afghanistan to help children receive a better education.
Pam Paschall, Adult Day Services Supervisor, was the lovely and very-well spoken
on-camera interviewee. Thank you to Pam for organizing this drive as well as to
all who were able to donate the supplies!
