St. Simeon's "Believe It or Not"

The Adult Day Services Support Group meets every t

two weeks at St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church, and is open to the public. The meetings in July will be Tuesday, July 9th and Tuesday, July 23rd at 12:30 p.m. For more information, call Chris Smith at 425-3583 x204.

Saint Simeon's "Believe It .or Not":

  •  The Dietary Department prepares over 700 meals each day - or a quarter of a million meals per year - for residents, Adult Day Service participants, visitors and employees.

  • The laundry room staff wash and dry the equivalent of 250 regular loads of clothes, sheets and linens each day - almost 90,000 regular size loads each year!

  • Residents annually consume over 100 liters of gin, bourbon and scotch at the Friday Cocktail Hour. (Okay, okay, this may be a slight exaggeration)

  • Over 1,000 people tour the Saint Simeon's community each year.

  • The national average for nursing home employee turnover is 125% each year - Saint Simeon's turnover rate is only 45%.
