Adult Day Services News

St. Simeon's "Believe It or Not"

The Adult Day Services Support Group meets every t

two weeks at St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church, and is open to the public. The meetings in September will be Tuesday the 10th and Tuesday the 24th at 1:00 p.m.  For more information, call Chris Smith at 425-3583 x204.

Saint Simeon's "Believe It .or Not":

  • The Life Enrichment staff plans and coordinates over 150 different resident activities each week or almost 8,000 each year.  Activities include educational, recreational and social opportunities.

  • Over 1,800 gallons of ice cream are served each year to residents, families and visitors. (Now, which way is it to the exercise class?)

  • The number of residents has more than doubled in the last fifteen years - from approximately 85 in 1987 to 180 in 2002.  (We are sure Dr. Eckels is smiling.)
