Saint Simeon’s Auxiliary News The October meeting of the Auxiliary is scheduled for Wednesday, October 9th at 10:00 a.m. in the Saint Simeon's Conference Room. Please plan to attend. The Auxiliary will be developing two new exciting programs this year that will be of great benefit to the residents and the Home. Your input is needed to make these programs a success. The Western Days 2002 "Oil Patch Blowout", is here! On Saturday, October 5, 2002, over 275 guests and volunteers will be having a great time under the big tent. Proceeds will allow the Home to purchase: 1) a magnifier visual reader computer with color monitor to allow residents with limited vision to read their personal mail, newspapers, and books; 2) two low-pressure beds to provide greater comfort to Health Care Center residents with frail skin; and, 3) two new canopies that will provide residents and families protection from the elements as they enter and exit the Home. If you are a "Lifetime" member of the Auxiliary you have two free reservations to Western Days. If you have not made reservations yet, please contact Saint Simeon's at 425-3583. The "Fall Cookout" is scheduled for October 17th. See ad on page 2 of the Quill.
