The February meeting of the Auxiliary, led by President Gayle Eby, carried forward the momentum of the Auxiliary's volunteer projects. The Residents' Library update project is well underway. Many of you have donated hardbacks and paperbacks that will make great additions to the library. Judy Lawson, Karen Garren and Dr. Boone have planned a work day to continue cleaning out the older books and arranging the new ones.
Other Auxiliary projects that are being planned include recruiting volunteers to serve as hostess or host in the Ice Cream Parlor and developing a program to help fulfill resident needs in the Health Care Center. More news on these exciting programs will be coming soon.
Mark your calendar for the Auxiliary Annual Luncheon, scheduled for Friday, April 25th at 11:30 a.m. Co-chairs Adele Garren and Betty Rheingans will be showing their “wild” side, so don't miss the fun. Invitations will be mailed in mid March. Members and non-members alike are invited.
The March meeting of the Auxiliary is scheduled for Wednesday, March 12th at 10:00 a.m. in the Saint Simeon's Multi-Media Room. All members are invited. If you are not yet a member, please visit our meeting to see how you can help.
Saint Simeon's Says “Thank You”
We want to thank each of the families who were able to recognize the Saint Simeon's employees this past holiday season by donating to the Holiday Fund. Your generous gifts totaled more than $35,000 and allowed the Home to give each employee a $240 bonus just before Christmas. We are very blessed to have such supportive families.
