Adult Day Services
--News From Way Down South

It was a great November at the Adult Day Center. Everyone enjoyed the cooler weather. We started the month out with a trip to Krispy Kreme. Everyone was able to see how the famous donuts are made. The best part was the taste testing.

We honored our veterans with a beautiful pin and thanked them for their service to our nation.

To celebrate Thanksgiving we made a Tree of Thanks with all the things we are thankful for. It was great to see just how blessed we are.

To begin the Christmas Season we will have our annual tree trimming party on December 4th at 10:30 a.m. EVERYONE IS INVITED TO JOIN US.

Do you know a family that may benefit from Adult Day Services? Please encourage them to contact Pam Paschall, Adult Day Services Supervisor, to arrange a visit and tour. Pam can be reached at 496-3316.

All Things Bright and Beautiful

All things bright and beautiful, All creatures great and small, All things wise and wonderful: The Lord God made them all.

Each little flower that opens, each little bird that sings: God made their glowing colors, God made their tiny wings.

The purple headed mountain, The river running by, The sunset, and the morning That brightens up the sky,

The cold wind in the winter, The pleasant simmer sun, The ripe fruits in the garden: God made them every one.

God gave us eyes to see them, And lips that we might tell how great is God Almighty, Who has made all things well.

(Thank you Lou Ella Walker for submitting this poem by Cecil Frances Alexander)
