Assisted Living at Saint Simeon's allows you to choose the level of care or assistance that you need or want. Saint Simeon’s offers professional supervision and assistance with selected daily tasks. Assisted Living includes studio apartments with some having a kitchenette for your own cooking convenience. The apartments are unfurnished and you are encouraged to bring in your own personal items to create the living environment that best suits you.

The Assisted Living area is supervised by a Registered Nurse and staffed 24 hours a day by certified personnel. Saint Simeon’s offers three levels of Assisted Living care based on your own personal preferences and needs. Prior to moving to Saint Simeon’s, you, your family, your physician and the Saint Simeon’s staff will make an initial assessment to help you choose the level of assistance that is appropriate. Over time, as significant changes in your needs occur, this same group will reevaluate the level of care wanted and needed.

Below is a summary of the three levels of care:

LEVEL 1 — Level 1 services listed are included in the Level 1 monthly rate:

Individually controlled heating and air
Security and fire protection system
Light housekeeping services
Emergency response system
Weekly flat laundry services
Resident Council
All utilities except telephone and cable TV
Chapel services and pastoral care
Social, educational and recreational programs
Assistance with medications (if requested)
Three delicious meals served daily
Professional staff 24 hours per day
Ice cream parlor
Assistance with bathing (if requested)
Hydromassage
Access to common washer and dryer
Individual care plan and assessment

LEVEL 2 — Level 2 services include all the services listed above in Level 1, plus one additional service in one of the areas of daily living listed below:

Transferring
Dressing and grooming
Toileting
Ambulating
Continual orientation or need for frequent supervision

LEVEL 3 — Level 3 services include all the services listed in Level 1 above, plus two or more additional services in one of the areas of daily living listed below:

Transferring
Dressing and grooming
Toileting
Ambulating
Continual orientation or need for frequent supervision
Full laundry service (if requested)
