The Saint Simeon’s HEALTH CARE CENTER is for persons who need total nursing care in a loving environment. The State of Oklahoma licenses the Health Care Center.

Dr. Insung Kim, through The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, serves as the Medical Director for the Center.

The Health Care Center is supervised by a Registered Nurse and staffed 24-hours a day by Certified Nurses Assistants, and private and semi-private accommodations are available. Saint Simeon’s provides a hospital bed and residents are encouraged to decorate their room with their own personal belongings.

In addition to receiving the best in nursing care, Health Care Center residents receive the full benefits of the programs and services provided by the Life Enrichment Department and the Saint Simeon’s Chaplain. Residents who are able to enjoy and benefit from social stimulation are encouraged to participate in educational and stimulating games, use exercise classes to help maintain their physical strength, attend musical concerts, visit the Ice Cream Parlor, and enjoy the many other activities that are ongoing in the Home.

Health Care Center residents who are not able to enjoy the special activities are cared for in a manner that maintains their individual dignity and respects the wishes of the resident and the family. Life Enrichment offers individual programming on a one-to-one basis. Our hope is to offer families the type of supportive services that help ease the stress created by ever changing medical issues.

The following are considered basic services for the Health Care Center and these services are included in the daily rate:

• 24 hour Registered Nurse (RN) and/or Licensed Practicing Nurse (LPN) coverage
• Individual care plans by a complete interdisciplinary team
• All meals, snacks and dietary supplements
• Ice cream parlor
• Hydromassage (for residents with medical approval)
• Resident Council
• Full recreational and social activities
• Chapel services and pastoral care
• All laundry services
• Daily housekeeping services
• All utilities (with the exception of telephone and cable TV)
• Individually controlled heating and air
• Emergency call system
• Evening and night time security guards

In addition to the services noted above, the services listed below are also available on an added fee basis:
